<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> The verb 打 dă is one of the verbs that is often used in Mandarin, however, this word has several polysemy meanings. This research aims to see the understanding of Gunadarma University Class of 2021 Chinese Literature students as intermediate level Mandarin language learners in distinguishing the meaning of the polysemous verb 打 dă. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires online to respondents. Based on research that has been conducted, the majority of students have a good understanding of the meaning of the polysemous verb 打 dă. This is proven by the high percentage of understanding for each individual, the highest score was 92.3% and the lowest score was 76.9%.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong><strong>: </strong>Chinese language learners' understanding, polysemy, verb 打 dă</p> <p><strong>Abstract.</strong> Verba 打 dă merupakan salah satu verba yang sering digunakan dalam bahasa Mandarin, namun demikian, kata ini memiliki beberapa makna yang berpolisemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemahaman mahasiswa Sastra Tiongkok Angkatan 2021 Universitas Gunadarma sebagai pembelajar bahasa Mandarin tingkat menengah dalam membedakan makna polisemi verba 打dă. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara membagikan kuesioner secara daring kepada responden. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman yang baik terhadap makna polisemi verba 打 dă. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai persentase pemahaman masing-masing individu yang sudah tinggi, nilai tertinggi 92.3% dan nilai terendah 76.9%.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: pemahaman pembelajar bahasa Mandarin, polisemi, verba 打 <em>dă</em></p>Wastri PebrianiAyesa Ayesa

<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> <em>Homophones are the similarities in sound that occur in a word regardless of its spelling. In Mandarin, homophones are the similarity of sounds and tones in different Han characters and have different meanings. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Grade 2 students on homophonic words in the </em><em>端午节</em><em>Duānwǔ jié (Dragon Boat Festival) Animation Video on the </em><em>三淼儿童官方频道</em><em>Sān miǎo értóng guānfāng píndào Youtube Channel. The research method used is qualitative which is described descriptively. Dalam bahasa Mandarin, homofon merupakan kesamaan bunyi dan ton pada suatu karakter Han yang berbeda dan makna yang berbeda pula. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan Mahasiswa Tingkat 2 dalam menganalisis Homofon Pada Video Animasi 端午节Duānwǔ jié (Festival Perahu Naga) Di Kanal Youtube 三淼儿童官方频道Sān miǎo értóng guānfāng píndào. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang diuraikan secara deskriptif. Terdapat 10 soal tes yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa tingkat 2 dalam menganalisis kata berhomofoni. <p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>This research aims to describe the forms and types of dysphemism in the conversations of the Zhèng Rùnzé 365 Tiān Qiánshuǐ group on WeChat, during 20 weeks from August to December 2023. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method and discourse analysis technique. The theories used dysphemism theory by Allan & Burridge (1991), with pragmatic approaches. The results of this study analyzed 28 data sets and classified them based on the type of dysphemism. The classification of types of dysphemia is 12 harsh insulting terms, negative epithets, and slurs that show disrespect, 4 comparisons of humans with animals, 4 terms of insults and slurs that use terms of mental abnormalities, 3 dirty cursing, and obscene swearing, 2 dysphemism -IST, 1 taboo terms, 1 in nicknames or hurtful greetings based on physical form, and 1 term from another language or foreign language. From the analysis of 28 data, it was found that the most frequently used form of dysphemia was sentence form dysphemia and the most frequently used type of dysphemia were harsh, insulting terms, nicknames, and negative taunts that showed disrespect.</em> <em>The dysphemisms found in this study show the use of dysphemisms as a form of conveying emotions, social criticism, showing social identity, and strengthening statements to be more prominent. Describing the use of dysphemism language illustrates social identity, levels of power and social status, and views on certain groups of people in social life.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>:</em> <em>Dysphemism; WeChat; Chinese Language; Group Chat; </em><em>Zheng Runze</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan jenis disfemia dalam percakapan grup Zhèng Rùnzé 365 tiān qiánshuǐ pada aplikasi WeChat, periode percakapan 20 minggu tepatnya dari bulan Agustus sampai bulan Desember tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik analisis wacana. Teori yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana dan teori disfemia oleh Allan & Burridge (1991), dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Hasil penelitian ini menganalisis 28 data dan mengklasifikasinya berdasarkan jenis disfemia. Klasifikasi jenis disfemia yaitu 12 istilah kasar yang menghina, julukan dan ejekan negatif yang menunjukkan ketidakhormatan, 4 perbandingan manusia dengan hewan, 4 istilah hinaan dan makian yang menggunakan istilah kelainan mental, 3 makian kotor dan serapah cabul yang tidak senonoh, 2 disfemia –IST, 1 istilah-istilah tabu, 1 dalam julukan atau sapaan menyakitkan berdasarkan bentuk fisik, dan 1 istilah dari bahasa lain atau bahasa asing. Dari analisis 28 data, ditemukan bahwa bentuk disfemia yang paling banyak digunakan adalah disfemia bentuk kalimat dan jenis disfemia paling banyak digunakan adalah istilah kasar yang menghina, julukan dan ejekan negatif yang menunjukkan ketidakhormatan. Disfemia yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan disfemia sebagai bentuk penyampaian emosi, kritik sosial, menunjukkan identitas sosial, dan memperkuat pernyataan agar lebih menonjol. <p>Cross-cultural communication is a process of interaction or communication carried out by two or more cultures which is the transfer of ideas or concepts from one culture to another culture with the intention of bringing the influence of one culture to another culture and vice versa so that they can influence each other, as well as reduce the level of misunderstanding and minimize the occurrence of conflict. This research aims to reveal the forms of issues that occur in everyday life in society related to the issue of cultural differences between Indonesia and China through the perspective of Chinese people living in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a cross-cultural communication approach with data collected through structured interviews with the Chinese diaspora living in Makassar City. The results of the research are that there are eight (8) differences that are issues of cross-cultural communication between Indonesia and China, namely language barriers, different eating habits, different meal treat habits, different concepts of time, different pace of life, different tipping habits, different toilet habits, and different religious beliefs.</p>Dian Sari Unga WaruLiu Dan DanSukma SukmaLeni CahyatiAndi Faisal

<p>Film White Snake: The Origin (2019) merupakan film animasi yang diadaptasi dari legenda klasik Tiongkok karya Feng Menglong. Dalam proses adaptasinya, sutradara menyajikan berbagai transformasi pada aspek tokoh, pengubahan cerita, dan latar. Transformasi tersebut berhasil memperkenalkan kebudayaan Tiongkok serta meraih keuntungan komersial.
